The British Columbia Paraplegic Association (BCPA) in conjunction with Human Resources Development Canada, has implemented an exciting new project. The BCPA has created the Center for Professional and Vocational Development (CPVD) to meet the growing needs of the community. Serving the Nanaimo, Ladysmith, and Parksville area, the CPVD will be working to prepare classes of twelve persons with physical disabilities to compete for meaningful employment in the workplace.
