Human Resources Development Canada has--easily--the largest and most comprehensive job listing site in the country. Luckily, the site is very well designed and allows numerous options for job-seekers. You can search by area, type of job, *most recent listings* and so on. The descriptions below will tell you what you get through each link:Note that even if you choose a page for (for instance) BC Residents, you can choose listings for any area of Canada.

Entry (English) by where you live
Main Search page (English) for BC Residents by keyword, job title and more.
HOWEVER, HRDC is not the only major job listing site in the country. Other government departments--often, but not always, in cooperation with HRDC--have also built comprehensive sites that are very useful for job-seekers, and these contain pointers to job listing sites other than the above. The same can be said for a few of the best non-government sites, and we've listed a few of them below, also.
Electronic Labour Exchange
This is a little different. The ELE is a site where seekers and employers meet, the former posting information about the employment they want so that employers can search for qualified applicants. Well worth a try.Canada WorkInfoNet Main Entry Page
Lots of job listing sites are contained here, all across Canada---but don't forget to explore the site for information on income assistance, training...pretty much you name it if it has to do with employment. Note that you will also find links to the partner WorkInfoNet sites from across the country, like BC WorkInfoNet. The provincial partner sites can often be a helpful way to get to regional information a bit quicker.Strategis
Of course, if you're willing to do some research and maybe try a more pro-active approach to finding employment, then this Industry Canada site might be exactly what you need. There might be a more comprehensive Canadian Business information site on the 'Net somewhere...but we haven't found it. A good sleuth can read between the lines and find opportunities. Be creative and curious. Example: who does what you want to do--and where are they? The Mining Company Job Search Canada Site
Employment Development professional Brian Mairs handles the editor's duties at this well-designed site. Note: he was already well known for the pioneering Brian Mairs' Native Links.Job Bank USA
I know it says USA but try it out! There are listings here for positions all over the world, including Canada. Just fill in the blanks like a search engine.CanadaJobs
Very comprehensive again. Especially check out the sections on UseNet and National Companies.Remember: You'll see a lot of repeats on the sites above--and on the sites throughout the Datadigr Career & Employment Sites and Resources--but no-one has ALL the possible job-related links all in one place. Better repetition than not enough choices.
